John J. Federico, JD is an attorney and an experienced government affairs and public relations consultant.  Federico // Duerst Consulting Group provides professional governmental affairs and association management services to a wide variety of clients in Kansas.  His advocacy efforts on behalf of various interests requires him to work collaboratively with key members of the Kansas Legislature, the Governor’s office, and the Kansas Congressional delegation on a daily basis.

A native of Rhode Island, John attended Flagler College in St. Augustine, FL, and earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Rhode Island, and his law degree from the Washburn University School of Law.  He lives in Lawrence with his wife of 35 years and has three adult children.
